Backhoe hits worker<\/p>\n
Nepalese Magar Tarak Budha, 29, sustained serious injuries on the chest when a backhoe hit him while he was marking a road surface last week in Achugao.<\/p>\n
Based on the preliminary traffic report, a backhoe shoveling waste material at the residence of Carl Reyes was backing up along the shoulder of a north-bound lane when it struck the victim.<\/p>\n
The victim sustained fractured pelvic bones and three broken ribs on his right side. He is being treated at the ICU of the Commonwealth Health Center.<\/p>\n
