How about teaching a craft, or even a sport?<\/p>\n<p>The Mount Carmel Middle School and High School are gearing up for this school year&#8217;s Mini-Course Week slated for March 6 to March 10, 2000.<\/p>\n<p>The event is and annual tradition at MCS during which teachers, staff, parents, and community members teach two-hour courses that stand outside the traditional world of academia.<\/p>\n<p>It gives students and course instructors a chance to dabble and play with a wide array of skills, projects and activities that do not usually  covered in the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Some past courses include basket weaving, basic quilting, hacky sack, dance, culinary arts, science fiction, physics, wrestling, basic yoga exercises, natural disaster preparedness, and traditional canoeing and navigation,<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested in teaching a course and want to find out more information, contact Todd Blahnik at tblahnik@saipan.com or Galvin Guerrero at galvin@itecnmi.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Want to share a unique hobby or skills?
