Beginning Tuesday, May 16, and continuing through Friday, May 19, Chamorro arts &#038; crafts will be on display in the Student Center.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be storytelling Tuesday through Thursday, May 18, by the island&#8217;s elderly, blending with Mes Man Amko.  Students will tour the exhibit, and delight in tales of long ago from our seniors.<\/p>\n<p>Activities for Thursday, May 18, include a flag raising ceremony in the morning, followed by a Chamorro Spelling Bee for grades 1-3.  A Chamorro Spelling and Oratorical Contest for grades 4-6 is set for the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The Man Amko will lead off festivities on Friday morning, May 19, with their rendition of the Batsu.  A fashion show follows  where students will model traditional Chamorro clothing worn over the years.  Next will be Chamorro-related programs presented by selected classes.  To cap off the day, and the week, will be the recognition of the Chamorro Spelling and Oratorical Contest winners.<\/p>\n<p>Parents and the community are welcomed to attend all the activities.
