Chanel, the internationally renowned fashion house, is presenting its first fashion event in Saipan in conjunction with the Hyatt Regency Saipan. The latest styles for Spring\/Summer 2000 will be modeled at a classic-style Afternoon Tea on Friday, June 2 at Giovanni’s Restaurant in the Hyatt at 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
“We’re very excited about this event,” commented Saipan Boutique Manager Ari Silva. “We’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, and with the Hyatt’s assistance, we’re giving Saipan an opportunity to witness the world’s best and latest fashions.”<\/p>\n
Chanel’s ready-to-wear fashion and accessories were launched in 1978 and made luxury and style accessible to a wide variety of women.
\nUntil then, and since 1915, Chanel’s main activity was the very exclusive haute couture business. Haute couture essentially refers to clothes “made to order” for a specific client.
