It was an ugly picture we once thought of as limited to violent drug-related television shows. It finally descended into family settings, derailing filial unity, thus the birth of broken homes.

There also were reported deaths of cardiac arrest as a direct result of the steady use of such potent drug. It left a permanent scar in the lives of younger family members who have since been without their other parent, not by accident nor the work of nature, but by neglect. And we’re still in self-denial despite it all.

In various villages, there’s what “ice” users or neighbors refer to as the “tenda” or store–venues where “ice” is sold. It is frequented by “ice” users. Otherwise, peddlers do their sales in front of small mom and pop stores, beach parties, or in places where there’s, in the lingo of young people, a “happening”.

The depth of this form of destruction among our people–young and old–is similar to that silent water that runs deep. There’s no sure gauge to tell just how widespread its importation, sale and use in these isles. But it is a social and health problem that has recently returned into the quiet setting of family homes once more.

The effect is undeniably vicious/ It fries the brains of potential young talents or freezes the heart of steady users. It also contributes substantially to the subsequent birth of broken homes. It’s a quick entrance into the destruction of both potentially promising young people or the family unit.
How do we contribute towards the eventual eradication of this social pest? It begins with your personal resolve to make a difference. You must take proactive attitudes to bringing this problem to its knees by cooperating with authorities. Don’t wait until a family member or friend is in trouble or wasted. Do it, NOW!

[4

post-52092","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news
["GET
