The Public School System today begins a fresh chapter to another academic year as it officially admits more than 10,000 school children to its elementary and secondary level schools all over Saipan, Rota, and Tinian.<\/p>\n
Classes promptly start at around 7:30 a.m. and concludes at around 2:55 p.m.
\nMore than 700 Students registered at Kagman Elementary School are advised that the school opening will be on Sept. 5.<\/p>\n
Students are urged to heed disciplinary procedures when taking the bus for school, including waking up early to catch the early morning route.<\/p>\n
They are also reminded to wait for the bus in a safe place and remain there quietly.
\nInstructions of the bus driver should always be followed as they are in charge of the whole trip.<\/p>\n
Students are also requested to remain seated while school bus is in motion.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, pupils are also asked to observe cleanliness and make sure that the bus is maintained in good condition.<\/p>\n
Both students and parents shall be held responsible for whatever damages or destruction any student may cause against the government-owned vehicle and its accessories.<\/p>\n
The busing fleet does not tolerate the carrying of tools or equipment to or from school unless turned over to the school bus driver when boarding the bus.<\/p>\n
Eating, drinking or chewing gum while inside the bus is also not allowed.<\/p>\n
Students are also prohibited from turning on instruments, such as radio, cassette recorder, guitar, ukulele, etc., and the placing of books, lunches, purses and other belongings directly under the seat.<\/p>\n
A “no smoking” rule while on the bus has also been mandated by the State Board of Education.
\nThe administration has directed all the school bus drivers and bus conductors to equally observe the above student rules at all times.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
