Lizama would like to inform all league president that there will be a meeting with Oceania Development Officer Stuart Manwaring today at the Ada Gym Conference at 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this meeting is to discuss or formulate an action plan for Mr. Manwaring&#8217;s next visit in October. Mr. Manwaring will go over some of the new rules and its implementation.  Please be on time.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the BANMI Board of Governors and officers have appointed Juan V. Diaz as league president for BANMI 2000-2001 Inter-Commercial Basketball League (ICBL).  A former vice-president of the  Island-Wide Men&#8217;s Basketball League, Mr. Diaz is ready to take on his new role and task.  Mr. Lizama is very confident in Mr. Diaz&#8217;s ability to organize and administer his duties.<\/p>\n<p>Marianas Pacific Distributors (MARPAC) will be the major sponsor for the BANMI-ICBL which is slated to kick off on Sept. 7, 2000.<\/p>\n<p>All interested coaches and players are urged to call the Board of Governors Sport Information Officer Abner Venus at 323-2432 or secretary-treasurer Mike White at 234-6547 or league president Juan V.
