Not only did Tank Beach get a good cleaning, several of the brigade members were awarded for their notable contribution to preservation of Saipan&#8217;s beaches. DEQ applauds their continued efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Next month&#8217;s brigade cleanup will be held at Coral Ocean Point Beach in October 7th, 2000. Volunteers can meet at 8:00 a.m. on Coral Ocean Beach, or for those not familiar with how to get to Coral Ocean Point, may meet a DEQ representative at COP parking lot in Koblerville.<\/p>\n<p>After the cleanup, brigade members who have participated in at least three brigade events will receive their bright green brigade t-shirt. Those members who have participated in at least 10 brigade events will join the ranks of the &#8220;Gold&#8221; brigade and receive hats. This is a cleanup that shouldn&#8217;t be missed.
