The National Junior Forensic League (NJFL) is an organization of students who compete in speech categories. These categories are Poetry, Prose, Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, and Impromptu.<\/p>\n
Hopwood had 12 students participate in last Saturday’s islandwide competition at MHS. This is the second one for this school year, with the largest number of competitors to date.<\/p>\n
The following are the Hopwood students who took home 15 ribbons:<\/p>\n

Eric Slyter- 5th Poetry (novice)\/ 3rd Impromptu<\/p>\n

Rose Marie Wakit- 1st Dramatic Interpretation<\/p>\n
Eva M. Demapan and Lorraine Catienza- 2nd Duo Interpretation<\/p>\n
