These categories are Poetry, Prose, Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, and Impromptu.<\/p>\n<p>Hopwood had 12 students participate in last Saturday&#8217;s islandwide competition at MHS. This is the second one for this school year, with the largest number of competitors to date.<\/p>\n<p>The following are the Hopwood students who took home 15 ribbons:<\/p>\n<p>Mark Anthony Yebra- 1st Poetry (masters)<\/p>\n<p>Florence Mizutani- 2nd Poetry (masters)<\/p>\n<p>Alvie Sanchez- 3rd Poetry (masters)<\/p>\n<p>Kathleen Magada- 4th Poetry (masters)\/ 2nd Humorous Interpretation<\/p>\n<p>Edwin Correa- 5th Poetry (masters)<\/p>\n<p>Eric Slyter- 5th Poetry (novice)\/ 3rd Impromptu<\/p>\n<p>Erica Toves- 5th Poetry (novice)<\/p>\n<p>Rose Marie Wakit- 1st Dramatic Interpretation<\/p>\n<p>Eva M. Demapan and Lorraine Catienza- 2nd Duo Interpretation<\/p>\n<p>Eva M. Demapan- 5th Impromptu<\/p>\n<p>Trinita Concepcion- 1st Impromptu<\/p>\n<p>Tatiana Guevarra- 2nd Impromptu<\/p>\n<p>These students have shown their best and Hopwood is very proud of their NJFL team.
