The Children\u2019s Christmas Parade, an annual event sponsored by the Marianas Visitors Authority, will be held tomorrow, Dec. 21, 2000, starting from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
The parade of children and floats will start in Garapan from the basketball court in front of the Carolinian Utt and will head north toward the American Memorial Park.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s theme will focus on exemplifying the island\u2019s Christmas spirit. There will be singing, costume and float competition. The public is encouraged to attend this annual event.<\/p>\n
Points will be awarded for best costume, best singing and best exemplification of holiday spirit.<\/p>\n
All public and private schools students from Kindergarten to 6th grade are encouraged to participate in the event.<\/p>\n
The public is advised that the Department of Public Safety will control traffic in this area so drivers are requested to practice caution when traveling through this area.<\/p>\n
