Decebel, 47,  for 25 counts of traffic violation after a 30-minute island-wide police chase early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p>According to DPS Information Officer Rose Ada, a police officer noticed two vehicles that appeared to be racing in Gualo Rai near the traffic intersection at 2:28 a.m. The police officer was able to stop one of the vehicles while the car driven by Mr. Decebel sped away.<\/p>\n<p>The car chase brought several police cars to run after Mr. Decebel to As Matuis then down to As Terlaje, Airport Road, San Antonio Beach Road.<\/p>\n<p>In Chalan Piao, the suspect struck one of the police cars and knocked down a traffic sign. The race went on even if one of the tires of his car got busted. Finally, Mr. Decebel was arrested when he ran into a median at an intersection in Navy Hill.<\/p>\n<p>Two arrested for possession of marijuana<\/p>\n<p>Two boys, one of them a juvenile, were arrested on Jan. 6 at around 10:43 p.m. for illegal possession of marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>DPS spokesperson Rose Ada said a police officer asked the car driven by  Suk Hyun Lee to pull over for a traffic violation along Beach Road. As the police officer was interviewing the boys, he saw one of them throw a plastic bag containing the leafy substance which turned out to be marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>Boating Safety responds to distress call<\/p>\n<p>A distress call brought the DPS Boating Safety Division to a rescue mission on Jan. 4, 2000 at around 4:00 p.m.  DPS central office received a call from a certain Mr. Dunlop saying they needed assistance as their boat which was in the vicinity of Banzai Cliff  was experiencing engine trouble<\/p>\n<p>One of the boat passengers, a certain Mr. Claasens, said they were heading north of Banzai Cliff for spear fishing from Smiling Cove when the engine conked out.<\/p>\n<p>At around 5:00 p.m. the Boating Safety personnel towed them back to Smiling Cove.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Police arrested Ignacio K.
