{"id":55506,"date":"2001-01-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2001-01-10T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/969a882e-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2001-01-10T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2001-01-10T00:00:00","slug":"969a883f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/969a883f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"CPTA accepts nominations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Council of Parent-Teacher Association has extended a public invitation for Saipan, Rota, and Tinian residents to submit their nominations for the positions of president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer in the Jan. 18 CPTA elections to be held at Pacific Gardenia at 6 p.m..<\/p>\n<p>Incumbent CPTA officers are reminding the public that nominees must be a parent or legal guardian of a student from private or public schools that are actively paying membership dues to the CPTA.<\/p>\n<p>The candidates are expected to give a two-minute speech on why he\/she is interested in a position on the CPTA and he\/she will contribute if elected.
