Police raided yesterday Sony pawnshop in Chalan Kanoa after the owner refused to help authorities in turning over suspected stolen items that were pawned in the establishment.<\/p>\n
Immediately, the police sought the issuance of a search warrant to recover the items which can be used as evidence in a robbery\/theft case to be filed against the suspects in a series of robberies and theft committed on the island.<\/p>\n
The pawnshop owner may be charged with obstruction of justice by the police due to his refusal to cooperate in surrendering the alleged stolen items.<\/p>\n
Police Capt. Delbert Sablan has refused to identify the items taken by the police team which raided the pawnshop pending completion of investigation.<\/p>\n
The police have been trying to resolve the William S. Reyes Elementary School burglary as they recovered last two weeks ago stolen equipment after obtaining confessions from suspects.<\/p>\n
