The Pacific Islands Club Saipan honors and names as January 2001 Employees of the Month Jhun Evangelista and Elvy Potian for their outstanding efforts and dedication to the PIC team.<\/p>\n
Jhun was selected as the front of the house Employee of the Month. Jhun joined PIC in April 1996 as a waiter in the Food and Beverage Department. Jhun recently accepted the responsibility as a Banquet Captain a couple months ago.<\/p>\n
Not only does he perform all banquet preparations with perfection, he is also one of PIC’s finest servers. One of his supervisors, Ann Bautista, commented, Jhun is helpful with other staff and is impressively attentive to guests. Jhun’s behavior serves as a positive role model to fellow employees as he is extremely efficient and knowledgeable.<\/p>\n
Elvy won the heart of the house Employees of the Month. Elvy has been a steady force in the Room Attendant team of the Housekeeping Department since her hire in January 1994. Executive Housekeeper, Paulina Pascual, shared an episode of Elvy’s exemplary behavior while cleaning a guest room.<\/p>\n
While Elvy was emptying the trash basket, she found $400 cash that was mistakenly thrown away. She immediately returned the cash to the guest occupying that room. The guest, in return for her honesty, bestowed her with a reward PIC commends Elvy’s commitment and integrity to PIC and its guests.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
