To recover from a heavy flu especially one that is self-inflicted with the virus of ma\u00f1ana isn&#8217;t a guarantee that you can stand up or take your first confident away from your bed.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;d probably slip out of bed, slowly.  Then there&#8217;s the dizzy spell from lying down too long.  Your once supple muscles may have turned into very soft tissues.  A slow walk out of your bedroom could be a painful one.  After a while on the lounge chair, you long to return to your bed for some more restful moments.<\/p>\n<p>Recovery in economic parlance involves a long process that is riddled with ifs, ands, and in-betweens.  It is such an imperfect science that relies heavily on hard data and past experiences.  In other words, our condition today emerged from yesterday&#8217;s decisions and indecisions (which ever came first).  It is for this reason that I feel leary about what&#8217;s ahead for these isles.
