{"id":56508,"date":"2001-03-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2001-03-07T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/96d2c86a-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2001-03-07T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2001-03-07T00:00:00","slug":"96d2c87b-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/96d2c87b-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Man called to court for assault"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 41-year-old man is accused before the Superior Court of assault and battery charges for allegations of physical abuse of a Saipan woman last February 3, 2001.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Gregorio Tilipao Limes, a resident of Navy Hill, is being sued by the government on two counts of assault and battery and disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, Mr. Limes should be held accountable for allegedly striking, beating, wounding, or causing bodily harm to a female victim last month.<\/p>\n<p>He has been summoned to court to answer to the charges on March 26, 2001, at 9am.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Superior Court has issued summons to a 44-year-old Chinese national for two counts of assault and assault with a dangerous weapon complaints.<\/p>\n<p>Court records reveal that last November 2000, the suspect Kai Zong Lin from Koblerville had threatened to cause or offer to cause bodily harm to another Chinese male using a machete.<\/p>\n<p>At that same occasion, the defendant reportedly attempted to physically abuse the victim.  Mr. Lin has been ordered to appear in court on March 26, 2001, at 9am.
