{"id":56647,"date":"2001-03-14T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2001-03-14T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/96d5c494-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2001-03-14T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2001-03-14T00:00:00","slug":"96d5c4a7-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/96d5c4a7-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Veterans honor fallen heroes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Veterans yesterday paid tribute to war heroes and comrades of World War II in a simple ceremony held at the American Memorial Park&#8217;s Court of Honor.<\/p>\n<p>Chartered by Continental Airlines, the veterans arrived on Saipan to participate in the historic visit ceremony graced by Gov. Pedro P. Tenorio and other local government officials.<\/p>\n<p>The governor expressed his appreciation to war veterans who fought the battle and restore the US freedom.<\/p>\n<p>Ret. Lt. Gen.
