What started out as a wholesome game of finger-wrestling resulted in an accident that confined a 15-year-old Marianas High School student to the hospital.<\/p>\n
Department of Public Safety Fire Unit personnel rushed to the MHS campus earlier this week to respond to an emergency call made by school authorities involving a high school student.<\/p>\n
The victim, whose name has not been disclosed, sustained a twisted right middle finger, resulting from a finger-wrestling match with a schoolmate, according to police.<\/p>\n
In an interview with authorities, the victim stated he had bid his playmate to stop the finger struggle but his warning apparently came too late.<\/p>\n
The boy said he found his middle finger already twisted.<\/p>\n
The injured student then reported the incident to school authorities and from there medical assistance was sought.<\/p>\n
