{"id":57168,"date":"2001-04-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2001-04-12T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/96f6bb45-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2001-04-12T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2001-04-12T00:00:00","slug":"96f6bb56-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/96f6bb56-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire razes Koblerville warehouse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police, fire, and airport response teams hustled Wednesday to tame a fire gone out of control behind the Koblerville Mobil gas station, setting fears the flames could puff up with the fuel depot directly situated in front of the blazing structure.<\/p>\n<p>The fire which began at noon yesterday was only contained at around 4:30pm, police said.<\/p>\n<p>At least one was rushed to the hospital after sustaining a first-degree burn injury, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>The victim reportedly rushed out of the warehouse in flames, while five others at the scene made it safely outside.<\/p>\n<p>The now razed structure was a cardboard factory owned by the United Pacific INV Inc.<\/p>\n<p>The building also accommodated a ten-room barracks that housed six people in every room.<\/p>\n<p>Police reported yesterday the fire started at around noon after the barracks occupants went out for a lunch a break.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after, one of the workers began to smell smoke coming from inside the warehouse.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
