Police, fire, and airport response teams hustled Wednesday to tame a fire gone out of control behind the Koblerville Mobil gas station, setting fears the flames could puff up with the fuel depot directly situated in front of the blazing structure.<\/p>\n
The fire which began at noon yesterday was only contained at around 4:30pm, police said.<\/p>\n
At least one was rushed to the hospital after sustaining a first-degree burn injury, according to police.<\/p>\n
The victim reportedly rushed out of the warehouse in flames, while five others at the scene made it safely outside.<\/p>\n
The now razed structure was a cardboard factory owned by the United Pacific INV Inc.<\/p>\n
The building also accommodated a ten-room barracks that housed six people in every room.<\/p>\n
Police reported yesterday the fire started at around noon after the barracks occupants went out for a lunch a break.<\/p>\n
Shortly after, one of the workers began to smell smoke coming from inside the warehouse.<\/p>\n
