The suspect to an attempted murder incident that occurred Tuesday night in the Chalan Kanoa residential area is still at large, police said yesterday.<\/p>\n
Authorities are currently probing for leads in this criminal puzzle that left one man injured due to gunshot wounds he sustained in the neck area.<\/p>\n
The murder attempt was reportedly staged at around 8pm near Taro Sue in CK after witnesses told police they heard gunshots around the area.<\/p>\n
When dispatched police officers arrived at the scene, they came across a white sedan that appeared to have veered off a small roadway, encroaching on a residential fence line.<\/p>\n
It was noted that a man was inside the stationary vehicle, positioned at the driver’s seat and unconscious, police records said.<\/p>\n
The man, later identified as a 28-year-old from lower Dandan, apparently had gunshot wounds on the neck and that blood was streaming from the injured area.<\/p>\n
The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. He was admitted and placed under observation though his status is still unknown as of press time.<\/p>\n
Police have qualified the case as attempted murder and assault with a dangerous weapon.<\/p>\n
