But police records reveal that the dispatched officer smelled alcohol emitting from the minors&#8217; exhale breath during their encounter.<\/p>\n<p>When police attempted to place the pair of teenagers inside a patrol car, the subjects reportedly behaved belligerently all the way to the central station.<\/p>\n<p>While being booked, both still refused to cooperate with authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The older suspect even tried to take a swing at one police officer but instead ended up slamming his hand against the glass wall, causing it to break.<\/p>\n<p>The 17-year-old sustained a laceration on his right hand and was transported to the Commonwealth Health Center for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The injured suspect has further been cited for assault and battery and criminal mischief raps, aside from minor consuming alcohol charges.<\/p>\n<p>His friend has been charged with minor consuming.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, two Hopwood Junior High School students were also nabbed for the same offense inside the campus Wednesday. Two 13 and 14-year-olds were arrested and charged for minor consuming at around 11am.
