Items on the agenda include nominations and elections of officers.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is recommended and is open to all interested individuals between 18 and 40 years who want to be involved with the community through various activities.<\/p>\n<p>Ha Myung Sam, National President of the Pacific Junior Chamber, describes Jaycees as, &#8220;an opportunity for anyone who enjoys volunteering and meeting new people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Ha has held various positions including President of the Saipan Junior Chamber, a Korean-speaking chapter, and is optimistic the Marianas Flame Tree Jaycees will recruit just as many members or more from the local community.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the activities the Marianas Flame Tree JC chapter hopes to replicate are the youth programs abroad, community service, and individual and entrepreneurial development.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about this non-governmental organization of young professionals and entrepreneurs, visit the website: www.juniorchamber.org.<\/p>\n<p>Carol Chargulaf, President Pro-Tem of the Marianas Flame Tree chapter, encourages anyone with an interest in participating to register for the general assembly by completing a membership application not later than May 11.
