Sutherland<br \/>\nReporter<\/div>\n<p>Jonny&#8217;s Bar &amp; Grill&#8217;s Docomo Pacific Home Boyz and Team SCS are the current front-runners of their respective Agingan and Obyan divisions as the Saipan Billiards Association 2012 Budweiser Open 8-Ball League&#8217;s continued last Tuesday in various venues of Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>The Home Boyz sunk Obyan&#8217;s Water Front (21-81), 15-2, in an inter-league road match to improve its overall win-loss record to 85-17 and atop the five-team Agingan field.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, defending division champion IT&amp;E Voyagers (79-23) sit six games back in second place after besting sister team IT&amp;E Incredibles (60-42), 11-6, on the road.<\/p>\n<p>New Saipan Aluminum&#8217;s Hustlers (61-41), meanwhile, are clinging to third place, a game ahead of IT&amp;E Incredibles after downing Joe&#8217;s Steakhouse&#8217;s Fotten Palau (52-50), 12-5, in an inter-league home draw.<\/p>\n<p>Joe&#8217;s Ocean Warriors (51-51) are still bringing up the rear after absorbing a 10-7 upset at home to Obyan&#8217;s second-ranked Shark Attack (50-52).<\/p>\n<p>Over in the Obyan division, Team SCS (57-45) remains atop the nine-team field despite falling to Poseidon&#8217;s seventh-ranked Yang-Ku (38-64), 10-7, in a stunner on the road, while in other results 19th Hole Bar&#8217;s Titans (48-54) defeated Bammy&#8217;s Restaurant &amp; Bar&#8217;s shorthanded Boom Boom (31-71), 13-4, at home; and Jonny&#8217;s Crazy 8 (40-62) upset 19th Hole&#8217;s Poksu (41-61), 10-7, at home.<\/p>\n<p>Though trailing by at least a handful, Obyan&#8217;s second place team Fotten Palau, third-ranked Shark Attack, and the fourth place Titans are all still within striking distance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Walter J.
