Cancer survivors and those currently undergoing cancer treatment are urged to attend the annual survivor dinner at the 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer on April 27 at 6pm.<\/p>\n

MMAC overall committee chair Catherine Attao-Toves said that this year’s dinner will be sponsored again by TakeCare\/FHP.<\/p>\n

Survivors must register for the event and are allowed to bring a guest. During the free dinner, survivors will be given a unique medallion and a T-shirt commemorating their fight against cancer.<\/p>\n

To register, contact survivor committee chair Nora Sablan at 235-0994 to 98 or email norasablan@gmail.com.<\/p>\n

Attao-Toves also encouraged community members directly affected by cancer to register with the Commonwealth Cancer Association to keep its cancer database up-to-date.<\/p>\n

\u201cRegistration with the CCA is voluntary and all information submitted will be kept strictly confidential,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

To register for the cancer database, contact CCA program director Juan L. Babauta at 682-0050 or email jlb6550@yahoo.com.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, luminaries, T-shirts, and raffle tickets are available for sale for those who are not affiliated with any MMAC team at the CCA office along Middle Road in Gualo Rai.<\/p>\n

Luminaries, which will be lit throughout the event to commemorate those who have been directly affected by cancer, are sold for only $5 each.<\/p>\n

Raffle tickets are also sold at $5 each for a chance to win prizes, including two round trip Economy Class tickets to any U.S. destination plus $300 in travel credit vouchers or a Samsung smartphone with one-year free service.<\/p>\n

T-shirts are on sale for just $10 \u201cin honor of the 10th year anniversary of the MMAC.\u201d<\/p>\n
