Two tourists who spent the day in Ma\u00f1agaha Wednesday complained of losing cash and valuables amounting to $79,152 to unidentified thieves.<\/p>\n
Mother and son Haruko Suzuki and Masahiro Ishii, who hopped to the remote island west of Saipan for a day of relaxation, reported their things missing from behind a beach chair, where they had placed their valuables.<\/p>\n
Public Safety spokesperson Lt. Pete C. Mu\u00f1a, in a report, said the cash and items missing were wrapped in a towel inside a Louis Vuitton bag. Its contents included a $30,000-18K Gold Rolex Daytona Chronograph watch, a $15,000-1.83K diamond necklace and a $4,000-18K gold eyeglasses.<\/p>\n
The signature bag also contained Japanese yen and US dollars, three Louis Vuitton wallets, a Cartier love ring, a Chanel watch, a diamond pendant, a platinum necklace, a diamond and platinum pierce and a Herm\u00e9s case.<\/p>\n
Mu\u00f1a said that after placing their belongings behind a beach chair, Ishii took a nap while his mother, Suzuki, went to the gift shop to buy something.<\/p>\n
