{"id":63429,"date":"2002-04-22T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2002-04-22T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/98aaf487-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2002-04-22T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2002-04-22T00:00:00","slug":"98aaf498-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/98aaf498-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"ITD unit to resume operations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Treatment of PCB-laced soil in Tanapag is expected to resume this month, as both the Environmental Protection Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers said that the latter\u2019s contractor\u2014the Environmental Chemical Corporation (ECC)\u2014are working with them to address safety concerns at the site.<\/p>\n<p>This, as the two federal agencies disclosed some details as to how deceased Filipino worker Roberto Alarzar was burned by hot dust at the treatment site.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cECC is making certain operational and safety changes to meet Corps and EPA requirements.
