The Journey from Palm Sunday to Easter is dramaturgically rich for those who mark their tradition along the Christian lineage, a diversely treasured and a passionately, sometimes turbulently, varied one.<\/p>\n
Our colleague Ellie Stock, a presbyter fluid with the pen in prose and poetry, written and spoken (she signs simply as ehjs), crafted the following rap that we share on this side of the Loud Hossanas of the faithful heralding the advent of an incredible journey to “Jerusalem”. \nFear succombs to stillness balm
\nFragrance, beauty, gift emerge
\nAwakenment, engagement, fulfillment converge
\nUnfurnished trance to unfinished dream
\nFinality to eternity, let it be…

\nLife gives, life takes, spirit unconquered
\nPrecious fragility, resilient vulnerability
\nIllusion\u2019s scarcity to equitable sovereignty
\nSun to seed, wants to need
\nGreed to harvest\u2019s necessary deed
\nUniverse movemental, economy creational
\nLivelihood and common good quite sustainable
\nPilgrimage from no longer to not yet
\nGrace unsettled, no boundaries set
\nPassion alert, Mystery beckons
\nHumility guides, gratitude reckons
\nVision lasered, eyes on the prize
\nEndurance prevails, grassroots rise
\nHope unfettered, hope unwound
\nHope beyond hope strangely found
\nInfinite patience, infinite love,
