Fitial and other government officials, IT&E employees, and other guests were in attendance at the event.

In his remarks, Delgado said that the playground will serve as a place where families and other community members can congregate and enjoy spending time together. He said IT&E employees themselves contributed their time to ensure the completion of the playground project.

“This is our way of giving back to the community. .I hope that your kids and grandkids can all come here and enjoy a nice day by the beach,” added Delgado.

Fitial said he likes playgrounds and joked about how he himself enjoyed playing at the Garapan playground.

“This is a very ideal playground because it’s a place where everyone would want to visit,” said Fitial. “I want to thank IT&E on behalf of our people in the community.
