Llagas.

By the end of the third frame, MDX was way ahead, 52-28, and went into cruise control in the fourth. Alex Lauron top-scored for MDX with 17 points, while Tenorio and Zack Babauta added 12 apiece, and Ben Lisua chipped in 11. J.R. Barrios was the lone double-figure scorer for FGC (0-4) with 18.

Konstrak 82, Pacific Postal 74

Konstrak also remained perfect in three games after beating Pacific Postal in the second game.

Jun Estolas and Elgene Mangali teamed up in Konstrak’s third victory, drilling 24 points apiece.

The game was close from start to finish with a lot of lead changes, but in the end Estolas and Mangali’s superior offense powered Konstrak to the eight-point win.

Estolas made 10 points in the first period for their 21-19 cushion, before Bernardo Aquino countered in the second canto with his 10 markers to give the lead to Pacific Postal at the break, 40-39. In the third canto, Estolas and Mangali tallied six apiece, putting Konstrak back in front, 58-55. Aquino was scoreless in the third.

Aquino tried to redeem himself in the fourth, but Estolas and Mangali were there to answer back and kept the win for Konstrak.

SCS 93, 8 Division 90

In the only completed game last Friday, SCS Heavy Equipment improved to a 2-0 mark after edging 8 Division.

Manolo Manalo exploded for 36 points in the three-point victory, making four of SCS’ last six points, including two important free throws in the homestretch. Jessie Mina added 18, while Robert Guiang and Rocyl Ritual contributed 11 and 10, respectively.

J.R.
