Sixth grade students at Dandan Elementary School permanently stamped their legacy with several astonishing performances during their farewell ceremony yesterday at the school grounds.<\/p>\n
Tasting the success of their hard work, the students were each recipients of certificates serving official proof of promotion to a higher education level.<\/p>\n
It was only fitting that the students highlighted the event, stealing the show with several cultural performances that blew the audience away.<\/p>\n
Aside from the sterling performances, the event also featured the recognition of academic success.<\/p>\n
Oreng R. Ngemaes posted the highest Grade Point Average between fourth and sixth grade and was the proud recipient of the Commissioner\u2019s Award. <\/p>\n
For his part, Albert T. Palacios received the Principal\u2019s Award while Naomi Cabrera was the recipient of the Honorable Mention Award.<\/p>\n
The theme of the event was \u201cIt\u2019s not a goodbye\u2026It\u2019s a time to fly.\u201d<\/p>\n
School principal Jonas Barcinas also commended the students for their achievement, and the parents and family members as well for their assistance in the shaping of the students.<\/p>\n
The parents of the promoted students were also honored with certificates of appreciation.<\/p>\n
The ceremony was also graced by the presence of PSS Finance director Richard Waldo, Dandan Parents\/Teachers Association president Leanna Hofschneider, 2004 Miss CNMI World Tracy Del Rosario and 2004 Little Miss CNMI Hope Gomez.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
