{"id":81649,"date":"2004-06-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2004-06-05T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/9fb4c5a6-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2004-06-05T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2004-06-05T00:00:00","slug":"9fb4c5ba-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/9fb4c5ba-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Eucon honors the graduates of 2004"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By CASSIE DLG FEJERAN<br \/>\nSpecial to the Saipan Tribune<\/p>\n<p>The Korean Presbyterian Church in Chinatown was filled Thursday evening with parents, teachers and staff to witness the graduation ceremonies for the Eucon International School.<\/p>\n<p>The school graduated students in K5, Elementary, Junior High, and High School. Joining the graduates were several other students from each grade level.  The school\u2019s teachers, among them Theron Boyer, Ami Ridenour, Mary Hayden, William Massie, and Florita Cabanes, were present to give out the awards to students who achieved the President\u2019s award, Principal award and Dean\u2019s award from each grade.  <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Eddie Wang challenged the students to what he called \u201cThe Three Test,\u201d comprising the three elements that the graduates need in order to succeed in life. \u201cThe three important things you need to have is knowledge, experience, and character,\u201d said Wang.  <\/p>\n<p>Wang stressed the importance of having a good character, acknowledging it as the most important factor.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cA person may have all knowledge and experience, but without good character he is only a smart criminal and he will not benefit society at all,\u201d said Wang. <\/p>\n<p>Also taking the stage to share their thoughts were the 12th grade graduates.
