Aqua Walk is a unique walking event offered by SAIWAI where participants wade through waist-high water. <\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon of the same day, SAIWAI would also hold a 10K Sunset Walk beginning from the Chamolinian Cultural Village at 4:30pm. <\/p>\n<p>For more information regarding the SAIWAI World Walking Walk, please contact Bea at 322-2725 or Mario at 322-8876.<\/p>\n<p><b>Rota sets Father\u2019s Day golf tourney<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Rota Golf Association is informing all golfers that there will be a Father\u2019s Day Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 19, at the Rota Resort and Country Club. <\/p>\n<p>Tournament fee is $40 per player. Showtime is 8am and tee time is set at 8:30am. Please contact George Hocog at 532-4047 or Pete Hocog at 287-3289 for more information.<\/p>\n<p><b>Silver Streak strikes again<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The 11th Annual Tom Picarro Memorial Fun Run will be held Saturday, June 19, at 6am.<\/p>\n<p>The 4.2-mile run is in memory of the former president of DFS Saipan and avid runner, P. Thomas Picarro. <\/p>\n<p>There will be a $5 registration fee, and all of the proceeds will be given to a local charity. There will be several age divisions and prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as first place over all men and woman. T-shirts will be given to the first 175 finishers.<\/p>\n<p>For further information call Wolf Mojica at 234-6615, ext. 540.<\/p>\n<p><b>Rotary caging starts June 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The 2004 Rotary Club of Saipan Summer Youth Basketball League will kick off on June 21 at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>Division of Sports and Recreation officer Elias Rangamar said from 12 to 14 teams are expected to suit up for this year\u2019s 18-and-under basketball battles.<\/p>\n<p>Entries must include team rosters, players\u2019 proof of age, completed waiver forms, and $5 membership fee. Team must also shell out $20 for team insurance payable to AON Insurance. Tennis Classic starting this June 24.<\/p>\n<p>Entry forms are available at the CIC Ltd. Office, Dai-Ichi Hotel front desk, American Memorial Park tennis courts bulletin board, and Las Vegas Golf &#038; Tennis Discount. Deadline for submission of entry forms and payment is on June 18, Friday, at 5pm. <\/p>\n<p>For more information, please call Joy Minor at 323-3081 or Manny Po at 235-3897.<\/p>\n<p><b>Golf great Bruce Devlin to offer lessons<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Golf great Bruce Devlin will hold a golf clinic at the Kingfisher Golf Links this Friday, June 25, a day before participating in the 2nd Annual NMC Foundation Open.<\/p>\n<p>Cost for a one-hour session is $90, while two-hour and three-hour sessions cost $150 and $200, respectively. Organizers have put a limit of 20 players per session.<\/p>\n<p>The NMC Foundation Open is scheduled for June 26-27, at Kingfisher Golf Course. First tee time is set at 6:30am.<\/p>\n<p>It features competition in six flights \u2013 Championship (0-8 handicap), A (9-13), B (14-18), C (19-up), Women\u2019s and Seniors. First place is guaranteed $400 in cash and a roundtrip ticket, runner-up gets $350, while third place takes home $250.<\/p>\n<p>Registration fee is $200 until June 21. After that the cost goes up to $300.
