Continental Micronesia announced Friday operational performance statistics for May 2004 as compared against a recent Department of Transportation consumer report, including record breaking performance for on-time arrivals.<\/p>\n
In May, 97.7 percent of the regional carrier\u2019s flights arriving within 14 minutes of schedule-a record setting performance for Continental Micronesia. The carrier continues to outperform all U.S. airlines that submit figures to the Department of Transportation\u2019s Air Travel Consumer Report. Further, Continental Micronesia completed 99.9 percent of its scheduled available seat miles (ASMs) in May, with baggage handling at 99.9 percent . The airline also reported a 72.9 percent system-wide load factor in May.<\/p>\n
