{"id":82756,"date":"2004-07-21T07:31:00","date_gmt":"2004-07-21T07:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/9ff08d02-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2004-07-21T07:31:00","modified_gmt":"2004-07-21T07:31:00","slug":"9ff08d15-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/9ff08d15-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"NMC offers discount to govt employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To help government employees with their education and training needs, the Northern Marianas College will be providing a 50-percent tuition discount to all qualified candidates.  <\/p>\n<p>According to Reina Camacho, assistant to the college president, the Government Employees Professional Development Assistance Program was implemented last year and is now being availed of by government employees.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe program aims to encourage CNMI residents to further their education,\u201d said Camacho.  <\/p>\n<p>Employees of the CNMI government interested in availing of the program must have proof of ineligibility to receive CNMI scholarship grant and federal financial assistance.  <\/p>\n<p>The program benefits are applicable to regular NMC courses only. Community program courses and outreach programs do not apply.  <\/p>\n<p>All interested individuals must pay for all applicable institutional and course fees as listed on the registration form.
