Man pumps gas, speeds away without paying<\/b><\/p>\n
Police are in search of an unidentified male who reportedly had his gas tank filled with gas and sped away without paying Wednesday afternoon.
\nPolice report indicated that the suspect was said to have been driving a Toyota Tercel with license plate number ABV 512.
\nDepartment of Public Safety acting public information officer Captain Pete C. Muna said the suspect had $20 worth of gas pumped into his tank by the gas attendant Ronald Aguilar of Mobil Mart Gas Station in Garapan. He then told Aguilar that he was going into the mart to \u00ecget some stuff.\u00ee
\n\u00ecThe gas attendant followed the male suspect to where the car was parked just beside the gas station by the air pump machine,\u00ee he said. <\/p>\n
\u201cAccording to the gas attendant, the driver just backed up to the parking and then a few seconds later, the driver just sped away from the station, without paying for the $20 gas.\u201d<\/p>\n
The gas attendant immediately reported the incident to the police at about 4:49pm. (Shan Seman)<\/i><\/p>\n
Pedestrian hurt after being hit by vehcle<\/b><\/p>\n
A pedestrian was admitted to the Commonwealth Health Center\u00eds Intensive Care Unit on Thursday after being hit by a vehicle.
\nPolice report indicated that the driver of the vehicle, 19-year-old female Norean F. Sablan, said she was traveling east along a road in Koblerville and lost control of the vehicle after entering a wet spot on the road.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe lost control of her vehicle and slid on the roadway,\u00ee said Department of Public Safety acting public information officer Captain Pete C. Muna. \u00ecShe tried to gain control of her vehicle but was unable to do so and hit a guy walking on the side of the roadway.\u201d<\/p>\n
Further, Muna said Sablan indicated she was on her way to a dental appointment and \u00ecwas not going fast.\u201d<\/p>\n
