Police arrested a man after he reportedly refused to pay his bill at a nightclub in Garapan Sunday night. <\/p>\n
According to a police report, the suspect, whose name was not disclosed, was arrested for theft of service after refusing to pay over $300 at the Russian Roulette.<\/p>\n
The police department had sent an officer to the site after receiving a call from the establishment complaining about the non-paying customer. Upon arriving at the scene, a security guard of the nightclub pointed out the suspect to the officer. The man, who was already outside the club, was escorted back inside.<\/p>\n
The officer then interviewed Nadejda Zybina, the manager of the club, who explained the incident. <\/p>\n
The report showed that, when asked if the allegation was true, the suspect acknowledged it. \u201cFrom there, I asked the suspect if what Ms. Zybina just said was true and he said, \u2018Yes, I walked out because I am not going to pay for that bill,\u2019\u201d the officer said in his report.<\/p>\n
Preliminary investigation indicated that the suspect entered the premises at about 7:50pm and ordered a beer. It disclosed that the waitress who served him, 22-year-old Evgeniya Ostrovskaya, offered to sit with him for company, and the suspect agreed. <\/p>\n
\u201cShe then informed him that it will cost him $10 every 15 minutes just for sitting with him and the suspect agreed,\u201d the report stated. \u201cShe then added that the suspect continued to order more alcoholic beverages.\u201d<\/p>\n
The report indicated that the manager of the establishment had also approached the suspect at about 9:30pm and had also offered to accompany him\u2014for the same price\u2014and the suspect agreed.<\/p>\n
\u201cNext, she said the suspect bought her two lady\u2019s drinks,\u201d it stated.<\/p>\n
During an interview, Zybina told the responding officer that the cost of the drinks, the company of another hostess, and herself amounted to $345.<\/p>\n
The suspect was arrested and taken to the Adult Correctional Facility where he was detained.<\/p>\n
The suspect reportedly threatened the officer while being arrested.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe began to threaten me by saying that I was in big trouble because he works for Chief Justice Manglona,\u201d the officer said.<\/p>\n
