{"id":83004,"date":"2004-08-01T07:54:00","date_gmt":"2004-08-01T07:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a0372882-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2004-08-01T07:54:00","modified_gmt":"2004-08-01T07:54:00","slug":"a0372896-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a0372896-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Cape Air kicks off Saipan-Guam flight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cape Air will launch today its maiden flight between Saipan and Guam as scheduled, according to Ports Authority executive director Carlos Salas.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the new airline kicked off its maiden flight between Guam and Rota.<\/p>\n<p>Salas has said that Cape Air, through its Continental Connection, would be using ATR42 airliners, which can accommodate 46 passengers. <\/p>\n<p>Based on its plan, Cape Air would fly five times daily starting at 7:15am from Guam to Saipan followed by 8:15am, 11:50am, 1:20pm, and 6pm flights. <\/p>\n<p>Flights from Saipan International Airport begin at 10:15am followed by 10am, 2pm, 3pm, and 7:45pm. <\/p>\n<p>Guam-Saipan flights normally take 50 minutes. <\/p>\n<p>Three flights daily are scheduled between Guam and Rota.<\/p>\n<p>For the Saipan-Rota route, Cape Air would have twice-a-day flights for the whole week beginning at 9:15am and followed by 2pm from the Saipan International Airport. <\/p>\n<p>The new Guam-Rota flights are at 8:15am, 1:30pm, and 6pm, while the Rota-Guam flights would be at 10am, 2:50pm, and 7:10pm.
