{"id":83172,"date":"2004-08-08T07:09:00","date_gmt":"2004-08-08T07:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a0570275-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2004-08-08T07:09:00","modified_gmt":"2004-08-08T07:09:00","slug":"a0570286-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a0570286-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Lottery jackpot jumps to $100,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The total amount of prizes won at the Marianas Lottery has now reached over $390,000 with last Friday\u2019s $10,000 bonus ball winner adding to the significant increase. <\/p>\n<p>The local lottery also announced a brand new grand prize of $100,000 for the Friday lottery and a new additional Monday lottery drawing for the same grand prize.<\/p>\n<p>Customers will have two different days to play for the $100,000 since the new Monday lottery drawing will start today, Aug. 9, to be conducted in the same manner as the Friday lottery. <\/p>\n<p>The independent accounting firm of Ernst &#038; Young continues to perform agreed upon procedures for all drawings so customers can be assured of honest and fair lottery drawings.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are still $1 per game and are sold at the Marianas Lottery office in Joeten Shopping Center and at authorized vendors throughout the island. <\/p>\n<p>Monday and Friday sales will close at 6:30pm with the live simulcast lottery drawing at 7:30pm.
