The Saipan International School recently announced that it would host a fun run\/walk this month.<\/p>\n
Dubbed the SIS 5K Fun Run\/Walk, the event is scheduled to unfold during the early morning hours of August 21 at Banzai Cliff. <\/p>\n
Nine divisions have been set up for various age groups, including six-and-under, ages 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50-and-up. A shorter course has been designed for participants in the six-and-under category.<\/p>\n
Participants aiming to conquer the course would begin huffing and puffing at the Banzai Cliff, and will make their way down towards the Cowtown-Marpi Landfill area.<\/p>\n
T-shirts will also be presented to the first 120 finishers.<\/p>\n
On site registration begins at 6am, however, participants may register early at SIS. A fee of $10 is required for each participant prior to the start of the event. Also, all participants are eligible for raffle prizes. The drawing would be held shortly after the run\/walk.<\/p>\n
