{"id":83645,"date":"2004-08-30T05:40:00","date_gmt":"2004-08-30T05:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a07292e1-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2004-08-30T05:40:00","modified_gmt":"2004-08-30T05:40:00","slug":"a07292f5-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a07292f5-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Garment workers undergo CPR training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 80 nonresident workers employed by Saipan Garment Manufacturers Association member-companies may now be able to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation in times of emergency following day-long training sessions on how it\u2019s done at the SGMA offices late last week.<\/p>\n<p>The training, done in Mandarin, was an extension of the Northern Marianas Alliance for Safety and Health\u2019s Governor\u2019s 2nd Annual Health and Safety Conference, held August 17-21 at the Saipan Dai-Ichi Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Similar sessions were held during the conference, and were done in Tagalog for Filipino nonresident workers, and English.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s all part of our continuing commitment to ensure a safe workplace for the employees.
