If parents would like to prepare booths or presentations, call GES at 664-3955.<\/p>\n<p>* Sept. 6, 2004\u2014there will be no classes due to Labor Day;<\/p>\n<p>* Sept. 7, 2004, is Mid Progress Report Day;<\/p>\n<p>* Sept. 10, 2004, is the deadline for Free Meal Applications;<\/p>\n<p>* Sept. 10, 2004\u2014GES will be having a special flag ceremony in remembrance of 9\/11. \u201cWe will wear patriotic colors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>* Sept. 15, 2004 is Pizza Hut Night. Proceeds will help fund this year\u2019s handbook for parents\/students.<\/p>\n<p>* The week of Sept. 20, 2004 will be school picture week.<\/p>\n<p>* Sept. 30, 2004 is PTA Night at 6pm in the school cafeteria.<\/p>\n<p>More information regarding these activities will be disseminated as the month progresses, the school said in a statement. <\/p>\n<p>The school also extended its gratitude to 99 Cents Supermarket, which donated rakes to teachers for the campus clean up after Supertyphoon Chaba and to the Saipan Mayor\u2019s Office for throwing away the debris from the typhoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cultural Heritage Month ends with Cultural Day at the Garapan Elementary School.
