{"id":83789,"date":"2004-09-05T04:13:00","date_gmt":"2004-09-05T04:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a075f75e-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2004-09-05T04:13:00","modified_gmt":"2004-09-05T04:13:00","slug":"a075f76f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a075f76f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Donors told to identify charity of choice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Donations requested by the Emergency Operations Center, or EOC, to aid families who suffered damages as a result of Supertyphoon Chaba should be directed to the non-profit, charitable organization of the donor\u2019s choice. <\/p>\n<p>EOC does not endorse any one single charitable organization, but encourages donors to assist any of the many organizations that are providing relief.<\/p>\n<p>The EOC appreciates the many non-profit organizations that are providing much needed relief assistance at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Chaba displaced some 1,000 people in the CNMI, mostly on Saipan (over 800).<\/p>\n<p>Meantime, the relief center entertains applications from 8am to 8pm from Mondays through Saturdays.
