They have come from all three islands of the Northern Marianas chain \u2013 Saipan, Rota, and Tinian. <\/p>\n<p>Whether they are deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan, currently serving in other flashpoints, or training to go there\u2014they\u2019ve all made their families and community proud by risking life and limb in the service of Uncle Sam.<\/p>\n<p>(Editor\u2019s Note: At last count about 150 men and women from the CNMI have been called to arms. Only a fraction of that number appears in today\u2019s photo spread.
