Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>In the first game, defending champion Ol\u2019Aces (5-4) defaulted their game against 69ers I (6-4) after not enough players showed up for coach Dexter Dillay.<\/p>\n<p>Led by the hot hands of Rayner Ferrer and Manuel Ajoste, Sixers II (7-3) raced to a 40-32 lead at the half and it carried over in the second.<\/p>\n<p>69ers II (2-8) main men Jake Maratita and Preston Basa tried their best to catch up with Sixers II in the second half but ran out of steam at the end.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrer led all scorers in the game with 32 points and 6 boards. Ajoste chipped in 22 of his own and also dished out 4 assists. Ferdinand Palacios was awesome in the defensive end, swatting 9 shots, while Jason Bahillo ruled the boards with 14 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>Maratita paced 69ers II\u2019s losing cause with 27 points. He also had 7 rebounds and 3 steals. This year\u2019s IVYBL scoring champ Basa finished with 26 points and 2 blocks.<\/p>\n<p>Sixers II 84 \u2013 Ray. Ferrer 32, Ajoste 22, Ja. Bahillo 10, F. Palacios 5, Je. Bahillo 4, Ran.
