The CNMI Chess Association is calling on all pawn-pushers in the Commonwealth to join their practice sessions every Sunday at 2pm at the American Memorial Park tennis courts.<\/p>\n

TAGA TENNIS SET DEC. 1 <\/p>\n
The 2nd Annual Taga Tennis Tournament is set to kick off at the American Memorial Park tennis courts.<\/p>\n
The Saipan Tennis Association-organized event rolls off with doubles competition on Wednesday, Dec. 1, and it will run until Dec. 5. Singles play and mixed doubles takeover the following week from Dec. 6 to Dec. 12.<\/p>\n
Entry fee is set at $10 per event for members and $15 per event for nonmembers. Entry forms can be picked up at the AMP tennis courts bulletin board or at the Las Vegas Discount Golf & Tennis in Garapan.<\/p>\n

$1K TOP POOL BAR TOURNEY THIS DECEMBER<\/p>\n
The Top Pool Bar $1,000 Open 9-Ball Tournament will be held on the weekend of Dec. 18 and 19 from 7pm to 2am. <\/p>\n
The contest will have a 32-man field and will be a single elimination, race to seven wins series. Only eight players will remain after the first day with the final players contesting the Top 3 money places the following day.<\/p>\n
Entry fee for the billiard event is $30 per person and pairings will be done through a draw, which date will be announced at a later time. <\/p>\n
