Sablan of Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>Who\u2019s Who, published by Educational Communications Inc. in Austin, Texas, is the largest recognition program and publication in the nation honoring high achieving high school students. <\/p>\n<p>Students are nominated by high school principals and guidance counselors, national youth groups, churches and educational organizations based upon students\u2019 academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular activities.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, 97 percent of Who\u2019s Who students are college-bound.<\/p>\n<p>The 38th edition of Who\u2019s Who Among American High School Students\u00ae, 2003-2004, published in 15 regional volumes, features nearly 600,000 students or just 5 percent of the nation\u2019s 15 million high school students.
