Tables will be rented to interested vendors. Contact the school at 664-5025 for more information or to reserve space.<\/p>\n<p>UPCOMING EVENTS AT HOPWOOD<\/p>\n<p>Thursday, Dec. 16: PTSA meeting at 6pm at HJHS cafeteria<\/p>\n<p>Friday, Dec. 17: School is half day. Students will be released at 11:30am.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday, Dec. 22: Last day of school before Christmas break. School resumes Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005.<\/p>\n<p>HEAD START PROGRAM ENROLLMENT START<\/p>\n<p>Enroll your child now! Head Start provides children with activities that help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically. The Head Start staff recognize that, as parents, you are the first and most important teachers of your children. Your child will leave Head Start more prepared for kindergarten, excited about learning, and ready to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>Open slots are at the following centers:<br \/>\nSan Antonio-PM session<br \/>\nSan Vicente-PM session<br \/>\nCapitol Hill-PM session<br \/>\nCapitol Hill-AM session<br \/>\nKagman III-PM session<br \/>\nKagman II-PM &#038; AM session<br \/>\nChalan Kanoa-AM session<\/p>\n<p>SUMMER COLLEGE INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE<\/p>\n<p>The NMI Council for the Humanities wishes to advise the general public of the availability of federal internships for the summer of 2005.<\/p>\n<p>The program, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities, is open to college students entering their junior or senior years in the fall of 2005. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or foreign nationals who have been legal residents in the United States for at least three years. Non-U.S. residents of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands are also eligible to participate in this program.<\/p>\n<p>The NEH will provide interns $4,000 for 10 weeks of work in Washington, D.C. <\/p>\n<p>The deadline for applications is Jan. 5, 2005.  Interested individuals may submit their applications online at http:\/\/www.neh.gov\/interns\/guidelines.html.
