{"id":86909,"date":"2005-01-04T02:22:00","date_gmt":"2005-01-04T02:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a1e45c1b-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2005-01-04T02:22:00","modified_gmt":"2005-01-04T02:22:00","slug":"a1e45c2c-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a1e45c2c-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Deadline looms for tax amnesty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Finance is reminding delinquent taxpayers that the deadline to apply for tax amnesty under Public Law 14-28 is on Jan. 19, 2005.<\/p>\n<p>The department\u2019s Division of Revenue and Taxation and the Division of Customs Services said in a statement that they will use their full authority after the amnesty filing deadline to enforce collection on all outstanding tax obligations from taxpayers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Department of Finance encourages all delinquent taxpayers with outstanding tax obligations to visit the respective division to clear their obligations before the tax amnesty program expires on [Jan. 19],\u201d said Finance Secretary Fermin M.
