David said yesterday that at about 5:43pm, the DPS received a call from an unidentified male reporting a disturbance at the Wooden Restaurant along Middle Road Chalan Lau Lau by the Marianas Repair Shop.<\/p>\n<p>David said a responding officer arrived at the scene about five minutes later and saw the two Chinese nationals along the roadway, with the female lying on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[The] officer found out that the Chinese female was stabbed several times in the chest and stomach area,\u201d David said.<\/p>\n<p>Medics were immediately dispatched to the scene and transported the victim to the Commonwealth Health Center for further treatment.<\/p>\n<p>As of press time, the status of the victim was not disclosed. David, however, indicated that she sustained serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>David said that during preliminary investigation, the suspect confronted the officer at the scene and reportedly admitted to the crime. He was arrested after the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect was taken to the Department of Corrections where he was booked and detained.
