{"id":87071,"date":"2005-01-10T05:13:00","date_gmt":"2005-01-10T05:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a1f66466-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2005-01-10T05:13:00","modified_gmt":"2005-01-10T05:13:00","slug":"a1f66479-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a1f66479-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Continental reports 95.4 percent on-time arrival rate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Continental Micronesia announced yesterday that 95.4 percent of its flights in November 2004 arrived within 14 minutes of scheduled arrival time.<\/p>\n<p>Citing statistics from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Continental indicated that it performed better, in terms of on time arrivals, than the 11 U.S. airlines included in the federal government\u2019s latest air travel consumer report.<\/p>\n<p>Other airlines in the list are Hawaiian, 93.4 percent; Jet Blue, 87.5 percent; Northwest, 84.2 percent; United, 83.5 percent; Skywest, 82.4 percent; ATA, 82.1 percent; Independence, 81.5 percent; Southwest, 81 percent; American, 80.9 percent; Comair, 80.1 percent; and U.S. Airways, 78.7 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Continental said it completed 99.3 of its scheduled available seat miles in November, with baggage handling at 99.9 percent. The airline also reported a 74 percent system-wide load factor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce again, Continental Micronesia provides an industry-leading operational performance,\u201d said Dan Morgan, the airline\u2019s operations managing director.<\/p>\n<p>Continental Micronesia is headquartered in Guam and operates a Pacific hub from the A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport.
